Pumori Expedition

Overview

Mt. Pumori (7,161m.) is perhaps the most popular mountain among the 7,000m Himalayas of Nepal. Climbing Pumori proves an ideal preparation for those aspiring for the more technical 8000m peaks including the Mt Everest. Pumori is a fantastic mountaineering objective. The peak straddles the Nepalese-Tibetan border. The Peak lies in the Upper Khumbu region and is situated among some of the world’s best-known mountains and most spectacular scenery.The ascent to the Pumori is rewarded with stunning photographic views of snowy mountains including Lhotse and Everest.The route follows the south-east buttress before traversing to the East Ridge for the remainder of the ascent. Requiring excellent physical endurance, Pumori is a serious expedition peak designed only for experienced climbers. The summit from Pumori provides excellent photography views of snowy mountains which will be a great perception for mountaineers. Program

Day One

Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day Two

Kathmandu- Prepare Expedition.

Day Three

Flight to Lukla & trek to Phakding lodge.

Day Four

Phakding to Namche lodge.

Day Five

Namche rest for acclimatization lodge.

Day six

Namche - Thyanboche lodge.

Day seven

Thyangboche - Pheriche lodge.

Day Eight

Pheriche - Lobuche lodge.

Day Nine

Lobuche - Pumori Base Camp – Camping.

Day Ten-Twenty Nine

Climbing Period for Pumori ( 19 days climb. Pumori )

Pumori BC - Pangboche –Lodge.

Day Thirty One

Pangboche - Namche –Lodge.

Day Thirty Two

Namche - Lukla – Lodge.

Day Thirty Three

Fly Lukla - Kathmandu & transfer hotel.
